Swampy Marsh and Rob Callaway emerged from a tight pack, shooting a sterling -5 in the Sunday Alternate Shot to claim the 2008 Hairy Crab Invitational. Overnight leaders Craig Chapman and Jimmy Hotdog succumbed to the challenges of the alternate shot format shooting +5 and finishing 6th. An unprecedented 3 way logjam for 2nd included defending champions Horsefield/Mulligan as well as strong performances from Caraszi/Papi and Stuart-Young/Wilson. In the Loser's Bracket, Wedan/Duffy claimed the Toilet Bowl.
In Clam action, rookie Chris Anthony won the title in a countback over Rienk Hamstra.
