Meals and Drinks Information
Meals included in your entry fee are:
- Buffet breakfast each morning in the clubhouse. It is served from 7:30 am.
- Dinner on Wednesday night in the villa conference room.
- Dinner on Saturday night at the Clubhouse.
- Wrap-up BBQ lunch on Sunday in the Clubhouse.
- There will be some wine, beer and whisky for everyone to share at the included dinners. All other food and beverages onsite will be charged to your room account, to be paid upon checkout.
- We have made reservations for two other dinners:
- Dinner Thursday night at the Old Clubhouse in Gullane
- Dinner Friday night at Zitto’s in North Berwick.
- Everyone will pay for their dinner these nights. A deposit of £20 per person was paid by GR for the Old Clubhouse reservation so please reimburse him for the deposit. Each of these two dinners follows upon a round of golf so we will walk from the course to the restaurant. We will be transported back to the Renaissance Club by bus after dinner.
Team Selection and Calcutta Information
The drawing of teams, and Calcutta will take place on Wednesday, May 7 at 9:00 PM after dinner in the conference room in the 6-room villa. This is a day earlier than usual which is necessary because of logistics. There is no defending team this year. The bidding for teams will be done in £ (Great British pounds) although payment can be made in either $US or £. The applicable exchange rate will be announced at the dinner. Team owners must pay for their team at the time of bidding. Teams can purchase 50% of their team at any time up to the first tee time for Round 1.
