Welcome to the "Crab"
For the last decade, friends have gathered in China, from around the world, for golf and good times at the Hairy Crab Invitational. In 2009, we completed our 10th annual tournament under the theme "What a Long Strange Chip It's Been". We've had a blast and we've managed to significantly help children in China through Hairy Crab Charities. Enjoy the long strange chip as we enter our second decade. We certainly have.

The New Website's Here
Now that the Hairy Crab Invitational is a decade old, 37 in crab years, we felt it a good time to give the ol' website a makeover. We hope you enjoy out new look.
Take a look at the new Highlights section. Pictures, stories, videos and scores from each Hairy Crab can be found there. We've pulled a lot of material out of the player's room for easier viewing. Login to gain access to even more players-only fun stuff which will appear on pages throughout the site. More details on how players gain site access can be found in the Player's Room.
Click on over to the Hairy Crab Charities site which got a makeover as well. Checkout our new Heart 2 Heart Kids page with pictures and updates on kids whose heart surgeries we've sponsored.
Enjoy !

Papi Rides Horse to Victory
The team of Grant Horsfield and Nigel Papi shot a sterling alternate shot final round of net 66 on the Spring City Mountain Course to win the 10th annual Hairy Crab Invitational. The champions finished three strokes clear of Mark McGrail and Jay Sorenson who shot a fine net 67 in the finale.
The potentially combustible team of Dave Dodds and Thomas Gramm matched the champions 66 to climb out of DFL and win the Loser's Bracket. A possibly unprecedented first to worst performance was completed by defending champions Swampy Marsh and Rob Callaway who tied rookie Trevor Rosmarin and Alan Duffy for DFL honors.
Tourney photographer Andy Utiger emerged from a shallow but game field to take first in the Clam flight. The impressive Shrimp resume of Duke Newcomb was further enhanced by winning the first ever Hairy Crab Idol video competition.
